Persona 2 and Trails in the Sky Head Down Under

Fri, 24th Feb 2012 | Posted by Ross

Hi Everyone.  As promised last week, we do have an announcement for our Australian fans.  I’m delighted to be able to tell you that Persona 2: Innocent Sin will be released on the Australian PSN Store on the 29th February, priced at just $54.95 joining The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky which is already available on the Australian PSN Store for $54.95.  We’re also going to be making our Persona 2/Trails in the Sky double pack available on the Australian Store priced at $99.95. A release date for this bundle pack will be announced in the coming weeks.

Persona 2: Innocent Sin will also be made available as part of a bundle with Persona 3 Portable which will go on sale on the 29th February for $79.95

Talking of Persona 2, some of you will remember the Framed Collector’s Editions we mentioned on this blog a few weeks ago.  Well I’m pleased to be able to report that we believe we have found a way to offer a very limited number of these at a premium price.  We’re still finalising the last few details of this offer but expect some more news on this very soon so watch this space :).

Finally, on to Chart Watch where Persona 3 Portable remains in 8th place in the PSP Chart.

That’s all for now.  I’ll be back soon but until then, why not follow us on our Twitter and Facebook pages, our Youtube Channel and our  Google + account, where we’ll be posting all the latest news from Ghostlight. You can also follow me on Twitter for a more personal take on all things Ghostlight.

Harry Smith says:

Atlus announced they where bringing Persona 4 arena to the US this week... Anything you guys wanna tell us? :3
[GL] Ross says:

@Harry Smith We're aware of it of course but we've nothing to say at the moment.
Harry Smith says:

Aw bum, I didn't think that would work ;P
Matt says:

@Harry I believe Arc System Works develops Persona 4 Arena chances are that might give PQube a strong chance of publishing it. @Ross what's the chances of getting some PS2 classics on the PSN network that weren't released in Europe originally like say Devil Summoner 2.
Kraigos says:

Is it too early to say if you are going to release games on the vita as you have already said that you were looking at games back in november/december
Mixobarbaros says:

I'd like to point out that the P2/P3P bundle doesn't show up on the European PlayStation Store if you access it from a Vita. Could you look into this? That discount is rather nice.
Tom says:

Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom -this PSP game would be awesome to see released in Europe after Fate/Extra
[GL] Ross says:

@Matt I'm not sure if such a thing is even possible at the moment. But I'll ask. @Kraigos We'd defintely like to release soem games on the vita it's a lovely little console. At the moment we're looking at several different games but there is nothing confirmed. @Mixobarbaros Thanks for letting us know. I'll pass it on. @Tom I'll look into it for you.
[GL] Ross says:

@Mixobarbaros Further to my last answer I've just checked and it appears for me. What country are you looking at it from?
Mixobarbaros says:

@[GL] Ross: I'm in Russia.
[GL] Ross says:

@Mixobarbaros I'll look into it for you.
[GL] Ross says:

@Mixobarbaros We've spoken to Sony and the Persona pack should now be available on the Russian Vita Store.
Mixobarbaros says:

@[GL] Ross: Much appreciated. The bundle is there now.
Goofey says:

Just so you know, it's been announcement that Persona 2: Eternal Punishment is also getting a psp port. I hope Innocent Sin has been successful enough for you to do Eternal Punishment as well :)
Rokuso3 says:

Goofey is totally right. I'd love to buy it from you again with another lovely collector's edition, on day one!!
A says:

I hope you guys will publish Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward in Europe for 3DS AND VITA.
Scott says:

Thanks for the Aus/NZ releases guys, as a NZer I really appreciate it. I don't have the money to buy them right now but in two weeks I should be good and I'll grab the 2/3 pack alongside TitS. Any chance you guys could look into releasing any of the games NISA and XSEED never bothered with here? I'm mostly thinking of the three Ys games, Corpse Party, Z.H.P. and Cladun. It really sucks not being able to play these games on the Vita just because a couple of American companies couldn't be bothered with us down here. Cheers.
[GL] Ross says:

@Scott I'll talk to some people here and see if there is anything we can do.
Scott says:

Thanks Ross, any effort would be welcome. I'm sure I'm not the only one that'd be interested, so as long as they're not stealth released (like TitS was), they'd hopefully sell decently enough to justify the certification costs (though I've no idea how much that is).
Chris says:

Any chance of a price drop for trails in the sky in the uk any time soon? I want to get it for vita and noticed that the us release has been $20 for a while now.
[GL] Ross says:

@Chris Well it's been out for longer in the US. While I'm sure we'll re-evaluate the price at some point I don't know of any plans for a price cut at the moment.
