Elminage Gothic to go on sale next week

Thu, 30th Apr 2015 | Posted by Ross

I don’t often tell you not to buy one of our games, but I’m going to recommend that you don’t purchase Elminage Gothic on Steam until Monday evening. That’s because on Monday Elminage Gothic will be entering the Steam Weeklong Deals, with a massive 70% discount off its standard price of £6.99. As the name suggests, this discount will be live from the 4th to the 11th of May, so be sure to visit the Eminage Gothic Steam Store page to take advantage of this great deal.

From the makers of the world renowned “Wizardry Empire” titles, Starfish SD brings you the latest entry in their popular series of dungeon crawlers. Elminage Gothic, previously only available in Japanese on PlayStation® Portable, now comes to PC offering a classic old school dungeon crawling experience with a dark, gothic twist!

Features include:

  • Well over 80 hours of dungeon crawling gameplay!
  • Hundreds of stunning monsters, creatures and demons to defeat
  • Multiple character classes
  • The classic and traditional “THAC0” system!
  • Full Japanese to English translation

Moving on to other topics, I’ve been reminded that we haven’t spoken about Way of the Samurai 4 much on here recently.  While I am sorry to say that we still don’t have a definite release date, we are  making really good headway and slashing our way through those bugs that are preventing that all-important release. I will, of course, let you know when I have more news.

Finally the Flame Over beta is now underway, and our friends at Laughing Jackal are hard at work looking at all the issues that have been raised by the beta testers. By the end of last week everyone who applied for the beta should have received an email, so if you didn’t, please get in touch to let us know.

I’ve been told that the Steam version of Flame Over is coming along very nicely and that the PS4 version isn’t far behind. I will have more information on Laughing Jackal’s firefighting action roguelike very soon. :)

That’s all from me.  I’ll be back next week, but until then why not follow us on our Twitter and Facebook pages, our Youtube Channel and our  Google + account, where we’ll be posting all the latest news from Ghostlight? You can also follow me on Twitter for a more personal take on all things Ghostlight.
