Agarest: Generations Of War hits #2 on Steam Top Sellers!
Hi everyone – I hope your week is going as well as ours :) As you may have seen, Agarest pre-orders launched on Steam earlier this week and the reaction has been just incredible. At one point we were in the number 2 spot on the Steam top sellers list, ahead of Godus and Saints Row IV! Unfortunately I was asleep at that point but I did manage to capture this image slightly earlier.
At the time of writing we’re still sitting pretty in 4th spot (does this mean we qualify for the Champions League?) So, a huge thank you to everyone who has pre-ordered the game or just helped spread the word. This has been incredible! If you haven’t pre-ordered your copy of Agarest: Generations of War yet (currently available for just £11.99 including a 20% discount and a selection of free DLC) then you can do so here.
In related news, after listening to your comments regarding Agarest’s minimum PC specification, in particular the required processor, we’ve been running tests on some of our much older PCs owned by the staff here. I’m pleased to report that the game actually runs really smoothly on a Core 2 Duo, so while the new minimum requirements have yet to be finalised and amended on Steam, it does look like we will be able to bump the specification down somewhat. This is great news for anyone with a slightly older system :)
Moving on to our weekly update on Devil Survivor 2 now and I’m pleased to report that following the recent approval of all the revised printed materials (including the manual featuring all of your names), the manufacture of Devil Survivor 2 is now well and truly underway. Nintendo have also informed us that the provisional dispatch date for our stock is 11th October. This means that we should expect delivery within a couple of days of this date and from there we’ll be working as fast as we can to get your copies shipped out to you all. I should stress that this date is only provisional at the moment and may change between now and release but I’ll make sure that I keep you all notified if that should happen.
I’ll be back next week, but until then why not follow us on our Twitter and Facebook pages, our Youtube Channel and our Google + account, where we’ll be posting all the latest news from Ghostlight? You can also follow me on Twitter for a more personal take on all things Ghostlight.
We Want to Hear From You!
