I’m thrilled to say that Agarest: Generations of War 2 is out now on Steam! If you’ve pre-purchased the game then it should now be available to download from your Steam library.
If you’ve not already bought the game then never fear, the 20% discount (with an additional 13% reduction if you own either of the previous Agarest games) doesn’t expire until next Thursday. That means there’s still time to pick Agarest 2 up for just £11.99 (or even less!) rather than the full price of £14.99. So, hurry over to the Agarest 2 Steam Store page to take advantage of this great offer.
Since it seemed like a shame to only cut the price of one Agarest game on Steam, and since we’re in a celebratory mood, we’ve also slashed the Steam price of Agarest: Generations of War by a massive 75% & Agarest: Generations of War Zero by 50%, in both cases this discount also applies to the DLC. The offer lasts for just one week, so be sure to head to the Steam Store to grab those savings while you can!

Well, the big day is nearly upon us! Tomorrow you’ll finally be able to get your hands on the mighty PC version of Agarest: Generations of War 2!
This third instalment in the Agarest series was previously only available on PlayStation®3 but now comes to STEAM with a host of new features and improvements making this what we think is the best version of Agarest 2 to date. :)
While this is obviously excellent news, it does mean that time is short if you want to score our sweet pre-purchase bonus - which expires on the game’s release - and get access to three extra characters absolutely free! And just as a reminder, there’s also a very healthy 20% off the retail price, with an additional 13% reduction if you own either of the previous Agarest games, bringing your total discount to a very generous 33% off! This discount will be only be available during the pre-purchase period and first week of release, so make sure you head to the Agarest 2 Steam Store Page and pre-purchase the game now! :)

More on Agarest: Generations of War 2
Agarest: Generations of War 2 is set in a parallel world to the previous two Agarest titles and has a completely new multi generational story and universe to explore. So while existing fans of the series will of course see some familiar features and faces popping up, newer players will not need to have played the previous games to understand and enjoy this instalment of the story.
…One day, the world was enveloped by a mysterious blinding light causing terrible destruction. The central continent, from where the light is believed to have originated, fell silent and slowly, demons began to emerge and spread throughout the world like a plague.
Sometime afterwards, a young man by the name of Weiss, suffering from amnesia, encounters the enigmatic Eva who tells him that he has committed the sin of deicide. In order to atone for his crime he learns that he must become the "Vessel" in which the power of the divinity he slaughtered is to be stored. This power will be used to resurrect the one whose life Weiss stole, for those who betray the divine will pay for their sins in the space which separates salvation and damnation, as will their progeny...

This new version of Agarest 2 has full mouse/keyboard and gamepad support, Steam achievements, higher resolutions and a number of other user interface changes. Cloud Saves are also supported as are Steam trading cards, backgrounds and icons, while a wealth of DLC is included in the game completely free of charge with other packs available to purchase separately following release. Plus the new DLC system gives you control over how your downloaded content is managed, enabling you to pick and choose how it is added to your existing saves.

Hi everyone. Since the Agarest 2 Steam Store Page went live earlier this week we’ve heard from lots of you who can’t wait to pre-order the game. If you were one of these excited people, I’m sure you’ll be glad to hear that we’re expecting pre-orders to open this evening (Thursday 12th February) at roughly 6pm GMT.
So remember to order before the game’s release on the 19th February to get an amazing 20% saving (33% if you own the previous two Agarest games) on the full price of $19.99 and DLC bundle 6 absolutely free, allowing you to use Leonhardt, Valeria and Myu from the previous games and unlocking Extra Costumes for many of the cast, saving you a further $7.99! When pre-orders do go live you’ll be able to order the game from the Agarest 2 Steam Store Page.
