Good news for those of you who’ve been wanting to play Agarest 2 with your favourite characters from previous Agarest games, as DLC Bundle 6 is out today priced at just £5.59, saving you over a fiver, compared to the £10.95 it would have cost you to purchase all the DLC items individually on PSN.
DLC Bundle 6 contains:
Here is something for one of the lovely ladies in your life to bathe in!
- 1st, 2nd & 4th Extra Characters
Allowing you to use Leonhardt, Valeria and Myu in from the previous Agarest games.
If this bundle seems familiar to you, that’s because it was the package we gave away free with the pre-order. So, if you did pre-order Agarest 2 there is no need to purchase this pack again.
In Way of the Samurai 4 related news, some of you may have noticed that we recently updated the release date on the Store page to Q2 2015. Unfortunately, despite the help of our excellent beta testers, we’re not yet in a position to release the game. As such, we have had to take the difficult decision to delay the game.
We do understand that many of you are frustrated by the repeated delays. It’s been a frustrating situation for us as well, but we are working as hard as we can to make Way of the Samurai 4 available on Steam as soon as possible.
That’s all from me. I’ll be back next week, but until then why not follow us on our Twitter and Facebook pages, our Youtube Channel and our Google + account, where we’ll be posting all the latest news from Ghostlight? If you’ve looked at the Steam Store this evening you may have noticed that all the games & DLC in the Agarest series are on sale as part of today’s Daily Deal. So, if you’re missing any of the games in the series or simply one of our DLC bundles then now is the perfect time to rectify that. :)
The chart topping SRPG, Agarest: Generations of War (regular price $14.99) will have its price slashed by 75% during the sale. Plus, we’ll also be making all of the game’s DLC, the Premium Edition Upgrade and - of course - the Collector’s Edition itself available at the same discounted price too! With a truly epic storyline taking in five generations of heroes, along with challenging grid-based strategic battles, this offer is fantastic value for anyone who wants to jump into this great series of SRPGs.
Meanwhile, the prequel to Agarest, Agarest: Generations of War Zero (regular price $19.99) will also be available with a 75% discount. Once again, this applies to all the game’s DLC bundles as well! With a brand new story featuring over 80hrs of compelling turn-based combat, animated character portraits, plus the new addition of Vacation Days , there’s never been a better time to purchase this game!
Finally, the recently released Agarest: Generations of War 2 (regular price $19.99) will have its price cut by a very respectable 40%. Agarest: Generations of War 2 is set in a parallel world to the previous two Agarest titles and has a completely new multi-generational story and universe to explore. While existing fans of the series will, of course, see some familiar features and faces popping up, newer players will not need to have played the previous games to understand and enjoy this instalment of the story.
Speaking of Agarest 2, I’d like to remind you that DLC Bundle 5 will be released tomorrow, priced at just £4.99, a saving of £5.78 over the original price of £10.77 that it would have cost to buy these items individually on PSN.
Agarest 2 - DLC Bundle contains:
Additional Massage Costumes
Additional Bath Costumes
Bonus Point Pack 8.
Included points: 6,500PP
These points can be shared amongst your entire party. Spread the wealth, create a single superhero, or shower them upon a beloved character; it's entirely up to you.

Hi everyone. As the title suggests, the first piece of news for today is that the 4th Agarest 2 DLC bundle will be making its way to the Steam store later today. Since this one contains three points packs it’s great for those of you who feel their parties are somewhat lacking in TP, or could do with the extra party points to upgrade a character.
DLC bundle 4 will be priced at £5.99, compared to the£ 13.27 the individual packs would have cost on PSN, and contains:
Included within: 400,000TP, 1,500PP
Included points: 3,000PP
Included points: 15,000PP
(These points can be shared amongst your entire party. Spread the wealth, create a single superhero, or shower them upon a beloved character; it's entirely up to you.)
In other news we’ve recently arranged with our friends at Neo Magazine, to give away Steam keys for Elminage Gothic to anyone who takes out a 12 month subscription for just £35. So, if you’re into anime & manga as well as video games, why not check out details of this great deal here. Please note that NEO has a limited number keys available for this promotion, so all keys will be handed out on a first come first served basis.
Finally, I thought I should mention that our friends at Laughing Jackal (the team behind our Steam ports) have released their firefighting action roguelike, Flame Over, on PS Vita last week. The team have been getting some great reviews for the game which you can find here and while I might be a bit biased, :) I do think it’s a fantastic game. I was actually part of the team that took it to EGX Rezzed last week to show the game off (which explains the lack of a blogpost) and the response we got to the game was amazing. So, do go check Flame Over out on the PSN store.
A quick word of warning: the game is rock hard. It may look very friendly, but if you take that to mean that it’s easy then you will die a lot. Although, to be fair, I die a lot anyway. :)
