In the run up to release we got Flame Over’s designer, Al Evans, to record a Let’s Play of the game, complete with developer commentary. In the video Al gives a general overview of the game and then takes you through the some of the features which are new to the PC version. Check it out:
For those of you who prefer something a little more unbiased, the mighty YouTuber Nerd Cubed also took a look at Flame Over for his Youtube channel, and I’m pleased (and with almost 250K views at the time of writing, very, very happy!) to say he really enjoyed it! J So, go check out what he thought of the game:
It might not be out just yet, but the PC version of Flame Over is already getting some great reviews with Epic Brew awarding it 4/5 saying: “Flame Over is a quality roguelike”
In another awesome development, the 5th largest curator on Steam, Just Good PC Games, has recommended it, saying that: “It has a lot of replay ability”
Flame Over also got a lot of great reviews for its Vita release:
“Flame Over isn’t just one of my favorite PS Vita games of the year but one of my favorite games full stop. I seriously cannot stop playing it.” - 10/10

PS3blog.net
“...packs a ferocious difficulty level and a protagonist that makes Fireman Sam look like a weakling... Not only is it one of the best games of 2015 (so far), it’s one of the best games on Playstation Vita. Period.”
Critical Indie Gamer
“Flame Over burns about as bright as a Bunsen burner with the air holes open and some magnesium tape held in the flame. It is a rock of a challenge that only Herculean gamers will complete... If you're up for the challenge, jump right in...” - 9/10
PS Vita Roundup
“Flame Over seems too hot to handle at first, but it's worth every hour you invest into it” - 8/10
Pocket Gamer
All of that feedback doesn’t even take into account the cool new content introduced for the Steam version of the game, so make sure you head over to the Flame Over Steam Store page to pick it up now! :)

•Play as a male or female character: see your choice affect the game’s intricate social dynamics
•Master the power of Social Links: build your friendships and increase your Persona’s power
•Spend your days at school, work and with friends; fill your nights fighting the Shadows
Or, if you’d like to pick up the stunning Legend of Hereos: Trails in the Sky (and my Twitter followers will know just how much I recommend you do!:) ), then you can save an amazing 70% on the standard price of £24.99, reducing the price to just £7.50.
Embark on the largest adventure ever to grace a handheld!
A vast world awaits!
Estelle Bright and her adopted brother Joshua set out on a long pilgrimage to become Bracers, sworn to uphold justice and peace in the land.
But when a dark plot threatens to rekindle the sparks of war, their journey becomes an epic quest to protect Queen, country and honour.
Join the legendary Bracer Guild and travel the world on an epic quest to defend justice within the kingdom.
Enjoy over 50 hours of core gameplay, plus many optional sidequests.
Plan your strategies carefully, making the most of each character, weapon and ability.
The PSN sale ends 3rd of June, so hurry over to the PSN store to make sure you don’t miss these great offers :)
