Ghostlight Games on sale on 3DS & PSN

Fri, 18th Dec 2015 | Posted by Ross

Do you own a console? Are you interested in our great range of Japanese games? Have you been  looking on enviously as Steam users get some great deals? Well, look on enviously no longer, as I’ve got details of some great Ghostlight bargains on the 3DS  eShop and the PSN Store!

Atlus’ fantastic RPG Devil Survivor Overclocked will have its price slashed by a massive 64% from £29.99 / €34.99 to just £9.99 / €11.99.

Meanwhile, action driving game Crash City Mayhem (released as Runabout 3D: Drive Impossible by Rocket Company in Japan) will have its price cut by 60%, reducing the price from SRP £17.99 / €19.99 to £6.99 / €7.99.

These sales begin on the 24th December and end on the 7th January, so be sure to head over to the 3DS eShop between those dates to take advantage of both of these great deals.

Meanwhile, on PSN, Agarest: Generations of War Zero has had its price slashed from £19.99 to just £7.99 and Agarest: Generations of War 2 has had its price dropped from £28.99 to a tempting £10.99! You need to hurry, as both these deals end on the 24th December!

In other news, since I have next week off, this may be the last blog from me until early next year. But you can still follow us on our Twitter and Facebook pages, our Youtube Channel and our  Google + account, where we’ll be posting all the latest news from Ghostlight? Apply now to join the Cubixx HD beta

Tue, 8th Dec 2015 | Posted by Ross

It’s nearly time for another Ghostlight beta test, as we’re going to be starting the Cubixx HD closed beta shortly. So, if you’d like to help us out and get a chance to play the game early then please send an email to: beta@ghostlight.uk.com stating your name, date of birth and the technical specifications of your PC.

Applications will close on the 11th December, so please make sure to get them in before then.  As with previous closed betas, we will not be picking people on a random or first-come-first-served basis, so please do bear that in mind.  What a ‘yes’ decision actually comes down to depends on a number of factors, including how representative we feel the range of PC specs we’ve assembled for the beta is.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Cubixx HD, you can check out the Cubixx HD website, or see what I had to say about it when we announced the game last week:

Cubixx HD was Laughing Jackal’s first non-mini and is a particular favourite of mine, with compulsive score chasing in single player and the local multiplayer being incredibly good fun both in co-op and versus. While I might be a bit biased it wasn’t just me who thought so, with Official PlayStation Magazine UK calling it: “One of the most gloriously addictive, knuckle-bitingly frustrating experiences you can have on PSN.”  Eurogamer also gave it an 8/10, calling it: “Murderously addictive.” The Sixthaxis also awarded Cubixx HD with an 8/10, saying it: “Hovers on the cusp of absolute, delightful joy.”

Cubixx HD is a fast paced action puzzle game which sends high scoring, combo chasing game play to the third dimension!

Play through the epic 50 level Arcade mode, test your skills to the limit with 50 Challenges or take on the world in over 150 online leaderboards! If all that isn't enough you can join forces with friends in the 7 player Co-op or destroy each other in the 7 player Deathmatch!
