Hi everyone. I know that recently, lots of you have been asking whether we could include Japanese audio in the Steam version of Omega Quintet. Well, I'm delighted to say that - after talking to our incredibly helpful partners in Japan, Idea Factory – we will indeed be including the Japanese voice work in our Omega Quintet Steam release!
I'd like to say a big thank you to the team over at Idea Factory for allowing us to use the Japanese audio and also to everyone who contacted us to ask about it. We definitely appreciate how important it is to you and we always want to give you the best release possible, so your feedback is always hugely valued.

Hi everyone. I'm now back in the UK after my trip to Japan and as I promised before I left, I will have news for you on the Japanese audio in Omega Quintet very soon indeed.
I had a fantastic time in Japan, both on my own, and after I joined my Inside Japan tour. Inside Japan were very helpful and I'd definitely recommend them if you've never been to Japan before and feel you might need some help. The tour itself was excellent and their staff were very helpful before I went.
Tokyo itself was incredible, I stayed in Askusa which was very pretty.
And I also really enjoyed exploring Akihabara where I ate at the Gundam Cafe, and visiting the Edo Tokyo Museum was another highlight in Tokyo. Although there is just so much going on in Tokyo that even after 6 nights I feel I barely scratched the surface of this amazing city.
Another city I barely scratched the surface of was Kyoto, which was very different to Tokyo, but no less interesting. Kyoto station itself is both unbelievably massive and very modern, but once you got away from it, the old parts of Kyoto were very pretty. In addition to seeing temples and shrines such as the Inari Shrine.
In Kyoto in exchange for agreeing to be filmed by the Japan National Tourist Organisation, the group was entertained by a maiko for an hour. I also found time to visit Uji & Nara which were both fascinating. In addition to all the famous sites, it was a lot of fun seeing the incredibly tame deer in Nara.
Even outside the main cities Japan was a lot of fun. In Sendai I really enjoyed visiting the castle, where I also saw a very impressive statue of Date Masamune.
The pilgrims trail in Kamakura was a very interesting walk and in addition to visiting the giant Buddha I also saw the Zelda shrine.
Hakone had some stunning scenery and while the onsen bath I had there was very relaxing, I think the highlight would be taking a cable car over an active volcano to get to my ryokan (traditional Japanese inn).
My other stop was Morioka, and while it's not exactly a very touristy city, it was very pretty and it was very interesting to visit a Japanese city away from the tourist trail. Also, I did get to make some reimen noodles while I was there, which was fun.

I'm going to be visiting Morioka, Sendai and then spending a few days in Tokyo, before joining a tour with Inside Japan Tours which covers Tokyo, Kamakura, Hakone, and Kyoto before returning to Tokyo.
As you might imagine I'm tremendously excited about finally getting to visit Japan, as I've wanted to go for many years, but have never been there before. I'm sure I'm going to be posting photos and more from my adventures in Japan on the @Ghostlight_Ross Twitter account.
