Ghostlight FAQ Part 1
Hi again.
I hope Nick and Daren looked after you last week. I’ve not been around the office much this last couple of weeks, but since I’ve been back we’ve managed to get together the answers to a lot of the questions that you’ve all been asking us for a while. So, I thought I’d do my best to give you the latest news on all of them.
We’ve got a lot to cover so this post will probably end up being split into two parts with the first covering our latest games and the second covering our future plans and some changes we are considering to the way we handle things.
So onto the questions …
First up lots of you have been asking about the DLC for Agarest: Generations of War Zero. All the DLC was originally intended to be available in time for the game’s release but unfortunately it has been delayed due to a non-trivial technical issue with the chargeable DLC. We are currently doing everything we can to resolve the problem and I can tell you that the Free DLC will definitely be coming very soon with the chargeable DLC hopefully following closely behind.
Secondly we have some news for all our Australian fans out there. As Daren mentioned in the comments of the last blog, Persona 3 Portable will be released on PSN in Australia soon with more of our PSP products to follow. While we do not currently have a distributor in Australia all our boxed products are available for purchase directly from the Ghostlight Store.
There’s been a lot of interest in Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky both of which I’m happy to confirm will be released in Q4 this year. Release and pre-order dates will be announced shortly. Both games will also be coming to PSN and we will also be announcing their PSN release dates shortly too.
We’ve also been asked for more details about the Collector’s Editions for both of these games. Both Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky official soundtracks will come in a slim jewel case with a very stylish inlay. The Persona 2: Innocent Sin soundtrack will feature the same 10 tracks as the release from the wonderful people over at Atlus. On the TitS side of things, the mighty A1 poster included in the Trails in the Sky Collector’s Edition will be of the original Japanese box art and will be rolled up and sent in sturdy cardboard packaging.
As GMM mentioned in the comments of an earlier blog we are aware that releasing both of these games so close together may strain a few wallets, as such we are looking into the possibility of creating an attractively priced Super Combo Pack containing both Collector’s Editions. There are still quite a few hoops we have to jump through so we can’t promise anything just yet, but keep your eyes peeled for more news on this in the next week or so.
That’s all for now everyone. I realise it’s been quite heavy going as we’ve had a lot to get through, but we really appreciate all of your continued feedback and support. In the next blog we’ll be uncovering some of the potential changes (for the better) to the ways that we provide you with products, as well as answering any more questions that you can think of. So until then…
