Competition – Win a PSN code for Agarest 2

Hi everyone.  It’s our first week without something new from Ghostlight appearing on the PSN store and to get over the crushing emptiness this is causing (not really :)) I thought we’d run a little competition for you all.  We’re going to give you the chance to win one of 10 Agarest: Generation of War 2 SCEE PSN codes.

All you have to do is comment telling us which character from the Agarest series is your favourite.  The competition closes on Monday the 26^th November at 10:30 am GMT at which point we will select 10 lucky winners at random.

Last pieces of Agarest 2 DLC released and merchandise

Hi everyone.  All you Agarest: Generations of War 2 fans out there will no doubt be pleased to hear that the last 24 pieces of DLC were all released yesterday on the PSN store, meaning that there are now a colossal 57 items of DLC available.

The full list of Agarest 2 DLC items added this week is as follows:

We’ve also recently been looking into creating PSN versions of our fabulous Agarest Collector’s Editions.  While details are yet to be finalised, the digital Collector’s Editions of both Agarest: Generations of War ZERO and Agarest: Generations Of War 2 are likely to include the game (obviously), a digital version of the game’s Official Soundtrack and also a very healthy selection of DLC.  Plus we’re planning on making the Official Soundtracks available as standalone downloads from the PSN store.

We haven’t forgotten those of you who prefer physical collector’s items either and I can now reveal that we are currently designing a range of new Agarest T-Shirts (in various sizes) and other merchandise which will be available exclusively through the Ghostlight Store, hopefully in time for the holidays.  While we’re limited by the artwork we have available for the T-Shirts, we would be very interested in hearing what sort of designs and characters you would be most interested in seeing.  We can’t promise anything but we will certainly take note of all your requests and comments.

Agarest 2 is out now on PSN

Hi everyone.   Winter is coming and to save you from having to brave the cold and the hordes of rampaging wildlings from beyond the wall (sorry wrong plot :))  the amazing Agarest: Generations of War 2 is now available on the PSN Store for €34.99/£28.49.  And if you’re wondering what you’ve been missing out on, here’s a refresher:

Story:

One day, the world was enveloped by a mysterious blinding light. The destruction it caused was terrible, even as the light itself was sublime in its beauty, and it made those who witnessed the awesome display think of the unrestrained rage and fury of the divine.

The central continent, from where the light is believed to have originated, fell silent, while at the same time demons began to spread throughout the world like a plague. Amongst the survivors of the catastrophe, that fateful day became known as the "Day of Light."

Sometime after the events of the Day of Light, a young man by the name of Weiss, who has lost all memory of himself, encounters an enigmatic woman named Eva, who introduces herself as an Agent of the Divine. It is from her that Weiss learns that he has committed the grievous sin of deicide, and that in order for him to atone for his crime he is to become the "Vessel" in which the power of the divinity he had slaughtered will be stored. It will be that power that will be used to resurrect the one whose life he stole.

For those who betray the divine will pay for their sins in the space which separates salvation and damnation, as will their progeny...
